Sist3rs Moving Forward Incorporated

Once upon a time, there were three happy sisters. They came from a beautiful home who's family came across a rough patch in life. When being told to pack a bag, it's in most cases, for something exciting -usually what is done prior to vacationing. This however was no vacation for the 3 sisters...After being told to "pack a bag for the weekend", they were split up and taken into different foster homes. Having only packed a couple of outfits, the 3 sisters lived out of their bag for months.

We are putting our best foot forward to help eradicate similar situations which are happening daily.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, more children are removed from homes in Hillsborough County than anywhere else in Florida. "The children are taken from their homes because parents fight or use drugs, or because of child abuse, neglect and mental illness. Others are given away by parents who admit defeat at handling teenagers. In 2016 investigators with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, reported they removed 1,672 children, which is the highest number in more than 10 years."

The least donated items are packaged undergarments and socks. Of course, these essentials are always important!
